Discover How to Improve Eyesight Without Surgery
By Jonathan Lie
Contact lenses and glasses are required by many people to be able to see. A life without this assistance is often wanted. LASIK and other surgeries are available to most but certain conditions cannot be operated on and the surgeries may be unaffordable. It is possible to improve eyesight without surgery. Adding certain foods to your diet can help. Eating items like kale, collard greens, broccoli, avocados and spinach, foods high in carotenoids, can halt the deterioration of your eyesight.
Eating fish like sardines, tuna and salmon that are rich in omega 3 can clear your eyesight and assist in treating macular degeneration. Eat eggs for the nutrients that they supply. Dark chocolate contains flavonoids which protect blood vessels in your eyes. Red wine has the same benefit. Vitamin E protects your retina. Also include vitamin C in your diet. To halt retinal deterioration and macular degeneration, bilberry extract can help you. It also improves night vision. Mahonia grape extract strengthens the capillaries in your retina and as a result can slow the aging process. It also adds protection from U. V. Rays. For reversing retinal deterioration, ginkgo biloba is recommended. It increases blood flow and nutrients to your retina. If eyestrain is a problem, use passionflowers to relax the small blood vessels in your eye.
Wearing contact lenses while you sleep will reshape the corneas. Wearing contact lenses for a period of 2 weeks gives the cornea a chance to be reshaped by the lenses. Improvement might not be noticed for at least two weeks of wearing them at night. Remove the contacts every morning. An improvement in vision should be noticed within 24 hours. To reverse the effects of the reshaping lenses, quit wearing them. Eventually, your eyes will revert back to the original shape. Lasik surgery is still an option.
